The highest-grade high-power model in the series, developed with 200 to 300 kg class marlin in view, as well as grander marlin and bluefin tuna over 300 kg. With overwhelming torque and durability, it is a spinning rod that can take on record-size large fish head-on.
Although it is a power rod, the bending fulcrum of the rod is designed toward the hands, so the load on the angler is kept to a minimum. It combines lifting performance that feels easy to bend and yet puts intense pressure on the fish. It is the right rod for anglers with big game experience, and for anglers who are used to fighting large marlin and bluefin tuna on spinning tackle.
As Nomura, who developed it, calls it "my own favorite model," it is a design you can rely on even in a punishing stand-up fight. The line rating is PE #6–12, and it uses the proven Fuji Super Ocean guides (#16–40), combining the strength and the handling that going after big fish requires.
* During a fight, if the fish comes inside the vertical line toward you, take care not to force the rod upright. It can cause breakage.
